"You may have heard the expression, “no two snowflakes alike,” but do you know the story of the  man behind it? 

His name was Wilson. A Bentley and this farmer from Jericho spent a lifetime photographing snowflakes. 

Part scientist and part poet, Bentley was endlessly inspired by the beauty of these six-sided crystals:  “Under the microscope I found that snowflakes were miracles of beauty, and it seemed a shame that this beauty should not be seen and appreciated by others. I became possessed with a great desire to show people something of this wonderful loveliness, an ambition to become, in some measure, its preserver.”
